Soldered reeds

Blades in soldered reeds are fixed using lead-tin solder. The soldered reeds are used for all types of weaving machines. It is reasonable to apply them while weaving a range of heavy fabrics. The reeds are robust and easy-to-repair.
The life span of soldered reeds is up to 10 years and more.

The soldered reeds are available:

with ”П”-shaped pads (fig. 1)
without pads (fig. 2)

Blades in glued reads are fixed using a special adhesive composition which provides a reed with damping characteristics (resilience and elasticity) enabling to increase their life span.

Glued reeds are recommended to use for high-speed machines while weaving medium and light fabrics due to its durability and light weight which favorably affects heddle motion operation.

The clued reeds are available:

with ”П”-shaped pads (fig.1)
with round pads (fig.2)
with profile blade (fig. 3)

Plate steel heddles are designed to be installed on a heddle frame for weaving machine and used for shedding. Eye sizes and shape are selected according to the type of threads and thread linear density.
